Scott Dierks (JFNew)
Scott received his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida, and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Additionally, Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Colgate University. Scott is Water Resource Engineer and a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Michigan. Scott is responsible for managing the engineering services for the design team on watershed management, stormwater treatment and aquatic ecosystem restoration. In addition to design work, Scott is widely experienced in the areas of hydrologic, hydraulic, sediment transport and water quality modeling projects. He also has extensive experience in writing and administering federal, state and local grants. Scott is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, and serves on multiple committees and advisory boards whose focus is on water quality and watershed management

Stu Kogge (JFNew)
Stu has over 23 years of professional experience working with wetland and aquatic resource related issues. He has over 17 years of experience working with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). He served 10 years as a field biologist in Cadillac, Michigan administering and enforcing Michigan's wetland and environmental statutes. He then served five years in Lansing, Michigan as the MDEQ's statewide wetland biologist where he was in charge of administering the Environmental Areas Program, Wetland Assessment Program and training field and contractual staff on how to delineate and assess wetlands. In 1999 Mr. Kogge founded Wetland and Coastal Resources, Inc. an environmental consulting firm, where he presided as President until 2007 and served as the company's Senior Wetland/Aquatic Biologist. Mr. Kogge has delineated and assessed over a thousand parcels of lands, comprising tens of thousands of acres of land, and has designed and assisted in the construction process of many mitigation wetlands. Mr. Kogge has conducted threatened and endangered species assessments for both animals and plants to satisfy MDNR, MDEQ, Michigan Department of Transportation, and Michigan Department of Aeronautics environmental requirements.

Mr. Kogge has testified in state, federal, circuit, and district court as an expert in the sciences of wetlands, fisheries, limnology, and aquatic biology.

Lenore P. Tedesco, Ph.D. [Center for Earth and Environmental Science (CEES)]
Dr. Lenore P. Tedesco is a wetland scientist in the IUPUI Department of Earth Science and the Director of the CEES. Since coming to IUPUI in 1991, she has focused her scholarship on a host of environmental issues and mentored students of all ages. She is the principal interdisciplinary research coordinator of urban experimental ecological restoration sites in Indianapolis and the project director of the Central Indiana Water Resources Partnership, a research and development program in water quality for Central Indiana with Veolia Water. She has published 26 articles in scientific journals, presented more than 100 scientific papers, given more than 75 invited lectures and supervised 26 graduate students. Dr. Tedesco has served as a science advisor to the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Earth Museum of Minneapolis, Indy Parks, and the Indiana State Museum. She serves on the State of Indiana Solid Waste Management Board as a gubernatorial appointee and serves on the State’s Wetland Science Advisory Board. She also is on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Water Resource Research Center and the Science Education Foundation of Indiana. She is the President of the Upper White River Watershed Alliance, and is co-chair of the Eagle Creek Watershed Alliance.

Robert W. Wolfe (JFNew)
Robert received his Masters of Science in Environmental Engineering Sciences (Wetland Ecology) from the University of Florida in 1987. He also received his Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources and Conservation from the University of Florida. Robert is a Certified Professional Wetland Scientist, with over 17 years of wetland restoration, mitigation, delineation, and permitting experience in the state of Indiana and four years of additional wetland experience at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory. His responsibilities include oversight of wetland delineations, Clean Water Act Section 404 and 401 permitting on large and difficult projects and wetland mitigation design.
