Tanna is a passionate advocate for conservation who skillfully bridges the gap between science and the public. Her degree and background in fisheries, wildlife, and conservation biology, combined with her exceptional communication and customer service abilities, empower her to foster meaningful connections within the natural resources and outdoor recreation sectors.

Before joining DJ Case, Tanna served as the R3 Coordinator for the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. Recognizing the critical need to engage the public in conservation efforts, she spearheaded innovative initiatives to recruit, retain, and reactivate hunters, anglers, and shooting sports enthusiasts. This involved collaborating with agency staff and partners to develop, test, and implement effective outreach strategies.

Tanna's dedication to conservation extends beyond her professional role. She actively participates in conservation committees at various levels, shares her expertise through articles in the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Magazine, and co-hosts popular podcasts like The Flatlander podcast and She Goes Outdoors podcast. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Tanna enjoys exploring the natural world, both independently and with loved ones. She also demonstrates her commitment to community service by serving as a city council representative.
