Mark Kimmet

Mark is a full stack developer who creates innovative web and mobile applications.  He has experience with architecting cloud solutions, designing databases, and writing documentation and tutorials.

In a previous role at the consulting firm KPMG, he advised and audited Fortune 500 companies, performing such work as an IT governance review, a Department of Defense DIACAP readiness assessment for a cloud hosting provider, and consulted on greening a company’s data centers while reducing their costs by 20 percent.

Mark created and taught a course in mobile application development at the University of Notre Dame and enjoys finding creative ways to share his knowledge with others. He is committed to finding ways to use data and machine learning to solve challenging problems.

Mark holds a BBA in Management Information Systems and an MBA with a focus on IT Management, both from the University of Notre Dame. He graduated from Georgia Tech in May 2020 with an MS in Computer Science, specializing in interactive technology.

Mark is a lifelong lover of the outdoors and has spent time climbing mountains, snowboarding, and surfing the Great Lakes. These days, his time in nature is a little less intense and he takes great joy in the simpler work of beekeeping, adding native plants to his yard, and introducing hiking to his three young sons.
