Rick Clawson

Multimedia Specialist / Project Manager

Rick has a deep family conservation connection (his father served his career as Missouri's chief endangered species biologist) combined with a high-definition focus on video and multimedia communication techniques. Rick worked for over a decade as a senior TV station director and as a commercial video production manager/director.

Now focused on conservation work at DJ Case, Rick directs video and multimedia production efforts along with supporting distance learning and online collaboration tools, along with facilitating and supporting participant engagement and workshop/meeting processes. Rick earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Missouri.

When not at work, Rick enjoys getting outside through hiking, biking, camping, and fishing, and is heavily involved in leading his son's Cub Scout Pack and local Cub Scout Day Camp..  As an Eagle Scout himself, Rick sees the value and importance of getting outdoors to explore and helping kids to learn new skills.
